Our charter


§
  1. To provide books and educational materials free of charge to underprevileged children and schools in third world countries.
  2. Provide scholarships to needy children in their country of origin, we will not deny any reasonable request for assistance.
  3. We do not involve ourselves in politics or promote any particular religion. The children are free to follow their traditional beliefs without interference from any member of our group.
  4. All materials will be free from religious or political content, excluding Easter, Christmas, or nativity scenes as we regard these scenes as part of a normal childhood and place no religious or political context on them.
  5. We are and shall remain a non profit group of the benefit of others
  6. When funds are available, Books With No Borders will place children into local schools and provide the required uniforms and educational materials for that child.
  7. Books With No Borders will support that school with donations of books and educational materials for the benefit of all the students.
  8. Books With No Borders will attempt to have equal amounts of boys and girls in scholarships at all times.
  9. Race, creed or colour will not affect Books With No Borders in its assistance to any child or school.
  10. All children are equal and equally deserving of the opportunity to receive an education.
  11. The children in our care will be well provided for and educated in safe and happy environment at all times.
  12. We guarantee that donations will not be eaten up by fat cats and huge administration costs, your donations will reach the people intended.
