Florence House orphanage
Florence house is clean, modern and welcoming.
To Cambodian standards it is a mansion.
We give lots of love, plenty of food, new clothes and a great education in a safe family enviroment.
Our house parents are a big hit and all the kids seem to love them.
We employ only Cambodian people in our operations and the kids are raised in the Cambodian ways.
The local monks provide religous and moral instructions to the children in house at least once a month. This is in keeping with most Cambodian customs.
We also offer respite to needy kids, we give them a holiday for a few weeks.
The children receive khmere lessons, english
classes in a private school and computer lessons, we further back up
with more english lessons at home.
When not in school, there are plenty of activities e.g. computer games, bike riding, ball games or simply watching a DVD.
Florence House - also called Happy House - is in a small undeveloped section of the city and the children have open areas and safe bike riding outside the door, it is a wonderful place for kids.
Our children are extremely well looked after and given every chance at a good education and they are loved.
