A message from the governor of Sihanoukville, Cambodia
As the governor of Sihanoukville, many cases of need are brought to my attention. As much as we would like to be able to help every case we are unfortunately unable to do so.
The children below are are some of the most desperate cases identified by myself and my department. We have requested our friends at Books With No Borders give these children immediate assistance.

A quick note from Books With No Borders:
The following children have been identified by Cambodian authorities as at immediate risk.
- Heng Sokunthear,girl, born 16 july 1990, both parents dead
- Heng Sreylak, girl, born 13 april 1996, both parents dead
- Um Sreymea, girl, born 01 sep 89, mother and father extremely poor, family cannot sustain the children correctly.
- Choung Oetra, girl, born 24 may 1991, mother and father extremely poor, cannot sustain the children correctly.

The four girls selected by the governor were all placed in schools within 24 hours and 48 hours of us receiving the request.
